The Cynical Sheikh by Barbara McMahon is book number one in the Ultimate Billionaires series. This is Laura Toliver and Sheikh (Tal) Taliq's story. Tal thinks that Laura is after his cousin just for his money. So, Tal misrepresents who he is so he can convince Laura to choose him over his cousin then he will drop her. Tal is doing this to protect his cousin. What if they really like one another? Has Tal made a mistake in his assumptions of Laura? I loved this book! Laura and Tal's characters were so much fun. I felt like they were my friends. This is a great start to a new series. A refreshing, fun, and entertaining romance! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Love it! Read it in one sitting! Loved this book.....think it is my favourite Barbara McMahon book so far! Tal and Laura are fantastic characters who take you through a roller-coaster of emotions. I found myself steaming in anger, laughing out loud, growling in frustration, melting with lust and crying with heartbreak, but at no point did I want to put this book down. I am looking forward to the rest of this series, hoping they all pack a punch like this one. I was sent an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
