Daddy and Daughters

by Barbara McMahon, Harlequin Romance, April, 1999

This book is part of Harlequin's Daddy Boom series which features stories about heros who are "suddenly" fathers.

The setting is San Francisco, a favorite city of mine.

When Jared Hunter returns from a business trip to the Far East, he is stunned to discover he's a father of two-year-old twin daughters. His estranged wife had kept the news from him and with her death, he has to assume responsibility for the girls. Only he hasn't a clue how to deal with toddlers.

But Cassandra Bowles does. That's how she earned money for college--babysitting. But the last thing she wants to do now is watch children. She has a degree in business administration and a desire to make a name for herself. Reluctantly she agrees to help, but just temporarily--until she begins to fall for her boss and his two adorable twins.
