HardShell Word Factory
One of these days, we'll all have Nooks or Kindles or another e-book reader, on which we can download a dozen books and carry with us on vacation--without the weight that carrying a dozen books brings today.
So to be right there, I sold to an electronic publisher--Hard Shell Word Factory.
My first book with them was entitled Banished. It was a Regency Historical--quite different from my usual stories. But one idea that really struck my heart. It's my only historical. It is also available in a paperback edition.
My second withHardShell is Crazy About You a sequel to a Silhouette book, The Cowboy and the Virgin but one which Silhouette declined to publish. I had a lot of fans request the story, and I wanted to see where those two would go as well, so I wrote the book and was lucky enough to have Hard Shell think it was great! Not only did my publisher like it, but it was a nominee for the Eppie Award for best electronic published book for 2004.
